Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of Oevre. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.
Using Oevre
Oevre is a notebook app for iPad. You can use the notebook for free. Ask and Live need an account and a Plus or Pro subscription.
Oevre is for people 18 and over. By making an account you confirm that you are at least 18. You’re responsible for keeping your Apple Account and email secure.
Your work is yours
You own everything you write, record, import and ask in Oevre. We don’t claim any rights to it. To answer an Ask or write up a live, an image of what you asked about, or the transcript, is sent to Oevre’s server for AI to work from, as described in the privacy policy.
AI answers
Answers, write-ups and flag explanations are written by AI. They can be incomplete or wrong. Check them against your course materials, and don’t rely on them for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.
Oevre is built to help you learn. Follow your school’s rules on academic integrity; you’re responsible for how you use what Oevre writes.
Recording
Live records the room. Laws on recording other people differ from place to place, and schools have their own rules. Make sure you’re allowed to record, and let people know when you are.
Subscriptions and allowances
Plus and Pro are monthly subscriptions bought through the App Store. They renew automatically at the price shown in the app until you cancel in your Apple Account settings, at least a day before the period ends, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. A free trial turns into a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel first. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Each plan includes a usage allowance for Ask and Live, shown as a bar in the app. When it runs out, Ask and Live pause until it refills. We may change allowances or prices; if we raise a price, Apple will tell you before it applies.
Fair use
Don’t use Oevre to break the law, to harm others, to try to get around your plan’s allowance, to overload or attack our server, or to try to extract the AI models behind it or our software. Don’t resell access to Oevre or share one account between people. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability
We work to keep Ask and Live running, but they depend on our server and the AI service behind it and may sometimes be unavailable. The notebook works offline. Keep backups of work that matters to you; iCloud Drive in Settings helps.
Liability
Oevre is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
Ending
You can stop using Oevre and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken. If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and its date, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
